Stress, despair, and anxiety may make the holiday season less than joyous for many individuals, just in time for the big day. To help you prevent Christmas fatigue, here are five stress-reduction tips:

Don't anticipate too much

So much anticipation for the holidays! It's a wonderful time of year to spend time with family, decorate for the holidays, and eat plenty of food! Humans are unpredictable and may respond in a variety of ways, so always be prepared for the unexpected. Make a comprehensive list of everything you need to do. Try to get as much done ahead of time as you can. The less stressful the Christmas season will be if you can get as much done as possible before then, the better. Everything from purchasing to decorating to sending cards to visiting loved ones should be included in the planning process.
